RED HEAVEN tells the story of six people living in isolation for one year in a small dome on a red, rocky volcano in Hawaii, to simulate the first human habitat on Mars. Featuring voices from leading thinkers in the movement to Mars, this documentary film explores the unique motivations of the crew members as they experience the struggles and glories of life on the red planet, and juxtaposes them with the cosmic questions of humanity’ place among the stars.
